Educational qualification:
- Primary Level (Class 1 to 5)
- Passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education Or
- Passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 norms Or
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Or
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). Or
- Graduation Degree Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) (a) who has obtained the qualification of Bachelor of Education from a NCTE recognised institution shall be considered for appointment as teacher in classes I to V, provided that the person appointed as teacher shall have to compulsorily undergo a six months bridge course in elementary education recognised by the NCTE within two years of such appointment as primary teacher. Or
- Post Graduate with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in final year of three-year Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
- Junior Level (Class 6 to 8)
- Bachelor’s degree and passed or appearing in final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). Or
- Minimum 50% marks in Graduation or Post Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Or
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing for 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) as per NCTE norms Or
- Passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Or
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year BA/BSc.Ed or BA.Ed/BSc.Ed. Or
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed./(B.Ed. Special Education).
- Any candidate who has passed B.Ed. Programme recognized by NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Further, as per the existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, any person who is pursuing any one of the teacher education courses (recognized by NCTE or RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Or
- Post Graduate with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in final year of three-year Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

How to Fill CTET 2024 Online Form
- CTET Online Form 2024 Notification Released and Candidates Apply within the Last Date.
- Candidates should read the CTET Notification 2024 very carefully before filling the online form application form.
- While applying, the candidate must fill all the columns carefully to avoid any mistake like – Candidate’s name, Father’s name, Mother’s name, Date of birth, Address, Qualification details.
- If asked to upload in the application form, upload all the documents in correct size and correct format, be it PDF or JPEG.
- Before submitting the form, double-check all the columns and documents and submit the form only if everything is correct.
- After submitting the CTET Online Form 2024, take a printout of it or save it in PDF.
