- Intermediate or its equivalent with at least 45 per cent marks and elementary education as per National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition, Standards and Procedures) Regulations, 2002.
- Intermediate or its equivalent with at least 50 per cent marks and four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.L.D.)
- Intermediate or its equivalent with at least 50 per cent marks and two-year Diploma in Related Education (Special Education)
