About Us:
- This scheme is a new scheme of the government. It aims to help people working in traditional crafts and industries get financial support and training. The main objective of this scheme is to promote traditional crafts and industries and improve the living standards of people working in these areas.
- Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched this scheme on 17 September 2023 on the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti. It aims to provide assistance to traditional artisans and craftsmen in their skills and financial status.
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi Skill Award Scheme This includes assistance to 10 lakh artisans and craftsmen. A budget of Rs 13000 crore has been kept for this for Budget 2023. Under this, people can take a loan up to Rs. 300000/- (3 lakhs) at 5% interest rate
- Under this scheme, eligible people will get a loan of Rs 3 lakh from the government at the interest rate of 5 percent. In the first phase, eligible people will get a loan of Rs 3 lakh from the government. Rs. 1 Lakh loan will be given, while in the second phase Rs. 2 Lakh There is a proposal of.

eligibility criteria:
- Who can apply- A person working in 18 fields can avail the benefits under this scheme. Among these, masons, weavers, gardeners, washermen, tailors, locksmiths, carpenters, blacksmiths, goldsmiths, gunsmiths, sculptors, shoemakers, boat makers, toy/mat/broom makers, doll and toy makers, hammer and toolkit makers, fishing net makers can also register on the Builder Scheme portal through the Choice Center to avail the benefits of this scheme.
- In this scheme, 15 days training will be given. During the training, the person will get Rs. 7500/- from his account of Rs. 500/- per day, then after the training he will get Rs. 15000/- and a tool.
- Under this scheme, eligible people will get a loan of Rs 3 lakh from the government at the interest rate of 5 percent. In the first phase, a loan of Rs 1 lakh will be given to the eligible people, while in the second phase, a loan of Rs 2 lakh will be given.
