Description:
- Uttar Pradesh Marriage Incentive Award Scheme: This is a state initiated scheme and only citizens residing in the state of Uttar Pradesh can apply for this scheme. Vivaah Protsahan Puraskar Yojana has been started by the Uttar Pradesh government under which unmarried people are given rewards for getting married. The marriage should be registered with the registrar of the state where the marriage took place and the person should be single or divorced.

Age Limit:
- male child : minimum Not above 21 years and not above 45 years at the time of marriage
- Girl child: Minimum 18 years and maximum 45 years at the time of marriage.

eligibility criteria:
- The couple should be permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh or have been residing there for at least five years.
- Neither member of the couple has been convicted of any criminal case.
- Certificate of minimum 40% disability.
- Neither of the couple is an income tax payer.
- The marriage has been registered.

- In case of disabled youth : Rs.15,000/- is provided.
- In case of disabled girl, Rs.20,000/- is provided.
- If both the boy and the girl are disabled then Rs. 35,000/- is given.
