eligibility criteria:
Primary Level :
- Code 01 : Intermediate Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (BTC/ D.El.Ed).
- Code 02 : Intermediate Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (BTC/D.El.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
- Code 03 : Intermediate Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
- Code 04 : Intermediate Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Code 05 : Bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing in final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (BTC/D.El.Ed). Code 06: Shiksha Mitra should have passed Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from IGNOU.

Junior Level:
- Code 01 : Bachelor Degree (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (BTC / D.El.Ed.).
- Code 02 : Bachelor Degree (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed./LT/Shiksha Shastri (Regular)).
- Code 03 : Bachelor Degree (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed./ LT/ Shiksha Shastri (Regular)) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
- Code 04 : Intermediate/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Code 05 : Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year BA/B.Sc.Ed or BA.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
- Code 06 : Graduation degree (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of B.Ed. (Special Education).
- Code 07 : Minimum 50% marks in Graduation or Masters and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). Provided that the minimum percentage of marks in graduation shall not apply to candidates who have already taken admission in Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent course before 29th July 2011.
